Police Crime Commissioner Survey. 3 Weeks to Have Your Say!

Police and Crime Commissioner Donna Jones is continuing to urge residents to share their views in her annual police budget precept consultation.

The government is giving Police and Crime Commissioners the flexibility to increase the policing element of your council tax in 2023/24 by up to £10 per year (based on a Band D property).

This year, the Commissioner is asking for the public’s views on increases of £5, £6, £8 and £10.

The Commissioner is asking local residents to complete an online survey and provide feedback.

The consultation started on Monday 31 October, and will close at 11.59pm on Sunday 4 December, giving residents another three weeks to submit their views.

In addition, for those who are not online, paper copies are now available at local libraries until the end of the consultation period.

They can be found at: Basingstoke Discovery Centre, Festival Place or here online Annual Police Budget Precept Consultation: Have Your Say (alchemer.eu)
