I love living on Sherfield Park and I’ve lived here since 2006 so have seen it develop from green fields to the vibrant and active community we have today.
I have been a Trustee of the SPCA for much of that time which has given me an insight in to how communities develop and what they need to be successful and inclusive. From the start I wanted to be involved in shaping our community, and being a Parish Councillor means I can make a contribution to the strategy and plans. I currently sit on both the Finance, Committee, and Communications, Open Spaces, and Policy and personnel working groups.
I am always looking for ways the council can work with local organisations to improve the area in which we live and benefit us all. As residents we can all make a difference and have our say on the things that really impact our daily lives, so I actively encourage you to let us know how you want your community to develop.
I have many years’ experience working on committees, including as Chairman and Treasurer for Ladies Circle and I have previously organised both charity fundraising events, and corporate activity days.
