Hampshire’s newest parish council started up in May 2016 when Sherfield Park split off from the village of Sherfield-on-Loddon, of which it was once a part. The parish had reached 1000 households; with distinct demographics from the village and a location classified as urban (part of Basingstoke) rather than rural, it had matured into its own identity. We now have seven councillors and our own budget, dedicated to making Sherfield Park an even better place to live.
